How we work

Three steps from first call to a system you rely on

Whether we're building a business application, a client portal, an integration, a website, or a learning platform, every engagement runs through the same three steps — so you always know what's happening, what's next, and who owns it.

Step 1 of 3

Discovery & assessment

Every engagement starts with a free consultation — a one-on-one conversation with the people who would actually build your system, not a sales team. We ask about your organization, your pain points, and what a good outcome looks like before anyone talks about software.

Then we look at what you already run. Sometimes the answer is new software; sometimes it's connecting the tools you already have. The audit tells us which of your systems should stay, which should be connected, which are costing you more than they give back, and what's missing.

Schedule your free consultation

What happens in this step

  • Free consultation — a one-on-one discussion to understand your organization, pain points, and goals. No obligation, no sales script.
  • System audit — we analyze the applications you run today: website, CRM, booking, e-commerce, spreadsheets, security, and the gaps between them.
  • Plain-language roadmap — what to build, what to connect, and what to leave alone, with a recommended build order and honest tradeoffs.

Step 2 of 3

Build & integrate

With the roadmap agreed, we build. That might be a business application, a client portal, a website or store, or a learning platform, along with the integrations that connect it to the systems you already run. Automation replaces the manual steps that eat admin time, and security is designed in from the first line — not patched on at the end.

Nothing reaches your live systems untested. Every feature and integration is built and tested before go-live, so launch day is a scheduled step, not a gamble.

What happens in this step

  • Design, development & testing — the application, portal, website, or platform the roadmap calls for, built around how your organization works and tested before it goes live.
  • Tailored integrations — custom APIs built around your platforms, not a one-size-fits-all connector.
  • Workflow automation — manual tasks automated to reduce admin overhead across the organization.
  • Security & compliance — built in from the start to protect sensitive data.

Step 3 of 3

Launch & support

Launch day should be boring. We deploy with minimal downtime, scheduled around your calendar — seasonal peaks, sales and promotions, term starts — and we stay close while your team gets comfortable.

Then the relationship continues: monitoring, updates, and honest advice about when to extend what you have and when to build the next piece. As your needs evolve, we scale what we've built with you instead of leaving you to outgrow it.

Support · Monday–Friday · 7:00 am – 5:00 pm PST

What happens in this step

  • Deployment with minimal downtime — your new system launches on a schedule that suits your organization.
  • Training & guidance — tutorials and hands-on support that help your team adapt quickly.
  • Ongoing maintenance — continuous monitoring and updates keep your systems running smoothly.
  • Future-proofing — as your needs grow, we scale your software and integrations to grow with you.

A clear division of labour

What you bring, what we own

Projects move at the speed of their clearest owner. Here's the split that keeps ours moving — a short list from you, and everything technical from us.

You provide

  • A decision-maker — one person who can answer questions and approve direction without a committee cycle.
  • Access — credentials or exports for the systems we're auditing and connecting.
  • Context — how your operations, people, and paperwork actually work day to day.
  • Honest feedback — reactions at each review point, while changes are still cheap to make.

We own

  • Architecture, development, and testing — end to end, backed by 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
  • Data integrity — through every audit, migration, and synchronization.
  • Deployment, hosting, and security — the systems we host run on our servers in Canadian-owned data centres.
  • Training, documentation, and support — long after launch day.

Still weighing it up? The FAQ covers what we build, consultations, hosting, migrations, pricing, and support — answered the way we'd answer them on a call.

Free consultation

Tell us what you need built, connected, or fixed.

A free, no-obligation call with the people who will actually do the build. Bring the idea, the workaround, or the system you've outgrown, and we'll talk through what it would take and whether we're the right team to do it.
