Custom software for organizations that teach and train
Colleges, trades training providers, corporate L&D teams, and independent course creators all run some version of the same stack — enrolment, learning, payments, and reporting. We design, build, and connect the software behind it, then support it after launch.
Who this is for
Four kinds of teaching organizations, one shared set of problems
The programs differ; the plumbing doesn't. Learners have to enrol, learn, pay, and show up in a report someone can trust. Here's what that looks like for each of them.
Colleges & private schools
When program calendars, student records, and tuition payments live in systems that don't talk to each other, staff end up copying the same details from one to the next. We build the platform that carries a student from application to credential without anyone re-keying data.
- Enrolment and student records connected to your LMS
- Tuition and course payments collected online
- Moodle support today, a migration path when you outgrow it
Trades & safety training providers
Tickets expire, practical sessions need seats and schedules, and auditors want proof. We build training platforms that always know who is certified, in what, and until when.
- Certification paths with expiry and renewal tracking
- Bookings for in-person and blended sessions
- Sell seats and training packages online
Corporate learning & development
Onboarding, mandatory training, and role-based learning across departments — with completion reporting your HR and compliance teams can stand behind.
- Compliance training with clear completion reporting
- Integration with HR, CRM, and internal tools
- Multi-organization rollout for divisions and franchises
Independent course creators
You have the expertise; you shouldn't need a development team to sell it. We set course sellers up to publish, sell, and support their courses without building infrastructure first.
- LearnDash and WooCommerce course sales
- PayPal or Stripe checkout on your WordPress site
- Hosting, security, and support handled for you
The stack we keep in step
From enrolment to reporting, one connected route
Every teaching organization runs the same route: a learner enrols, learns, pays, lands in your CRM, and shows up in a report. When those five stations don't share data, your staff become the integration — copying records between systems by hand. We build the stations and, just as importantly, the wiring between them.
Enrolment
Applications, registrations, and rosters enter the platform once — nobody re-keys them.
LMS
Courses, lessons, quizzes, and certification paths — where the actual teaching happens.
Payments
Tuition, seats, and course sales collected online and reconciled without spreadsheets.
CRM
Every learner and client organization, current in the system your team already works from.
Reporting
Completions, certifications, and revenue in one honest picture — no stitching required.
Most of the value lives in the wiring — that's our systems integration practice.
How we help
Three ways in, depending on where you stand
You don't have to rebuild everything to work with us. Keep and improve the platform you have, build one of your own, or connect the systems you already run — and move between them when your programs demand it.
Keep what you have
Improve your Moodle or LearnDash
Already on Moodle or LearnDash? We customize, host, secure, and support what you have — and stay honest about when it's still the right tool.
Moodle & LearnDash Care →Start fresh
Build a platform of your own
When your programs no longer fit anyone's template, we design and build a learning platform around how they run: scoped in discovery, connected to your other systems, and supported after launch.
Custom Learning Platforms →Link your systems
Connect what you already run
When your LMS, website, payments, and CRM don't share data, your staff become the integration. We build the APIs and automation that connect them, so a record entered once doesn't need retyping anywhere else.
Systems Integration →We've built and run custom learning platforms in production — see the two case studies. And not everything a school or training provider needs is a learning platform: for portals, internal tools, and other business applications, see Custom Software & Web Apps.
Straight answers
The questions education buyers ask us first
Where does our learner data live?
When we host your platform, it runs on our servers in Canadian-owned data centres powered by renewable energy. DreaMedia Technologies Ltd. is 100% Canadian-owned and operated, with its head office in Vernon, BC. If your policies say where learner data must be stored, bring them to the free consultation and we'll go through them with you before anything is built.
How do you handle our learner records in a migration?
A migration plan comes before any build. In discovery we audit what you run today, whether that's Moodle, LearnDash, or something else, and map the course history, completions, and certification records you need to carry across. You get that plan in plain language before any records move.
Can a custom platform track certifications and compliance?
Yes. We build certification paths, expiry and renewal tracking, and compliance reporting into custom learning platforms, because trades and safety training organizations need to prove to an auditor who is certified, in what, and until when. The safety-training platform in our case studies keeps operator certification records current as operators train.
